[Mediapen=Na Gwang-ho] Korea Electric Power Corporation(KEPCO) was honoured with Gold Prize at the Silicon Vally Internation Invention Festival 2019(SVIIF 2019).

This festival was organized by IFIA(International Federation of Inventors’ Associations), and 125 inventions from 14 countries including Korea, US, China, Taiwan was introduced this year.

KEPCO’s two inventions were ‘Apparatus for monitoring underground electric power tunnel and control method’ and ‘Real-time insulation performance diagnosis system for live suspension insulator’.

The apparatus for monitoring underground electric power tunnel won the gold prize of the international federation of inventors’ associations(IFIA).

Real-time insulation performance diagnosis system for live suspension insulator won the prize of china association of inventions.

Kim Tae-ok, director of KEPCO commented that this festival was a great opportunity to inform the world about KEPCO’s advanced technology and that it will become a bridgehead for entering the world market.
