[Mediapen=Lee Dong-eun] LG Electronics announced the launching of all-in-one energy storage system(ESS) for small-sized solar power plants. 

This is the upgraded version of ESS from last year with higher economic efficiency and safety. It comes in a package comprised of power conditioning system, power management system, battery, cooling & heating system and fire extinguishing system.

The new ESS is fitted with 313-kilowatt-hour batteries which is 14% larger than the earlier version. It can store enough energy to supply power to about 30 households for a day under the condition that one household uses about 10kWh each day.

LG further enhanced safety performances by adding non-flammable materials in order to pass Korea Electrical Corporation’s before use inspection. 

“We will continue to lead the domestic ESS market with differentiated products and construction capabilities offering the best performance, convenience and safety” said Ahn hyuk-sung, official from ESS division in LG Electronics.
