Track day held at Nürburgring for final check of next-generation vehicles
[Mediapen=Kim Tae-woo] Hyundai Motor Group’s executives from R&D and products department gathered in Nürburgring for a final inspection of their next-generation vehicles. 

This is the first time executives in charge of driving performance gathered abroad. From August 15 to 17, they held a track day at a test center located in Nürburgring, Germany to inspect their strategic vehicle models of Hyundai, Kia and Genesis.

With Albert Biermann, head of R&D and Luc Donckerwolke, head of Hyundai Design Center present, around 20 executives from various department attended this track day.

The models tested were G70, JX, RG3 of Genesis, Veloster N, i30 N line of Hyundai and Xceed of Kia. Competing models from other brands were also tested.

“The reorganization of the R&D department was the start of the collaboration between Product and R&D division.” said Albert Biermann. He also added “While testing in Europe, we will listen to our future customers on the spot for the future innovation and development”.
