Mediapen pursues the free market economy and firmly rejects any kind of prejudice

Mediapen, as the Korean internet media guarding free market economy and aiming to be responsible journalism, completely rejects any kind of prejudice and abhorrence such as Antisemitism.

Simon Wiesenthal Center, an international Jewish human rights organization, raised an issue on our column under the title of "Greed of Elliott behind ISS: Evil Influence of Jewish Capital" and the Wall Street Journal made a comment on the argument in its opinion section.

Mediapen reviewed our column and concluded that the columnist expressed his own personal opinion, but that it has contained some expression open to misconception. Mediapen pulled the column out of our paper according to our policy sternly rejects any kind of prejudice.

It's a thousand pities that the column might have unintentionally brought about some misunderstanding of Antisemitism. Mediapen is most regrettable that our column has contained some expression open to misconception of the oldest prejudice.

미디어펜은 이 기사를 검토한 결과 해당 칼럼은 기자 개인의 견해로 반유대주의라는 오해를 받을 만한 표현이 일부 포함되어 있다고 판단했고, 어떠한 종류의 편견도 반대하는 본지의 정책에 따라 문제의 기사를 사이트에서 자발적으로 내렸다.

다시 한번 본지는 기사내용이 의도하지 않은 반유대계로 오해를 불러 일으키게 한점에 대해 유감을 표명한다.
