[미디어펜=편집국]대한민국의 자율주행 보안 및 통신 기술이 유럽의 심장부인 체코 오스트라바(Ostrava)에서 미래 모빌리티의 새로운 이정표를 세웠다. 28일 현지 매체 피딧에 따르면, 오스트라바시에서 진행된 ‘보행자 보호 및 자율주행 인프라 실증 테스트’에 한국의 자율주행 보안 전문기업 오토크립트와 한국자동차연구원(KATECH)이 핵심 파트너로 참여해 성공적인 결과를 도출했다.

이번 프로젝트의 핵심은 차량과 모든 사물을 연결하는 C-V2X(Cellular Vehicle-to-Everything) 보안 기술이다. 오토크립트는 횡단보도와 차량 사이의 통신을 보호하는 암호화 솔루션을 제공했다. 횡단보도 센서가 보행자를 감지하면 해당 정보가 실시간으로 주변 차량에 전달, 운전자가 미처 보지 못한 사각지대의 위험을 경고하고 자율주행차의 제동을 유도한다.

The core of this project is the C-V2X security technology. AutoCrypt provided an encrypted solution protecting data exchange between crosswalks and vehicles. When sensors detect a pedestrian, information is sent to nearby vehicles in real-time, alerting drivers to blind-spot hazards or enabling autonomous braking.
