25일 베트남 유력 매체 브이엔익스프레스에 따르면, 롯데벤처스 베트남은 베트남내 잠재력 높은 스타트업을 발굴해 그룹 생태계와 직접 연계하는 오픈 이노베이션 프로그램 ‘L-CAMP 베트남 2026’을 공식 출범했다.

이 프로그램은 한국 기반의 오픈 이노베이션 전문 기관인 임팩트스퀘어와 공동 운영되며, 단순 자금지원을 넘어 롯데의 거대 유통·물류망에 스타트업의 핵심 기술을 이식하는 실전형 국책 연계 사업이다.

Lotte Ventures Vietnam has officially launched "L-CAMP Vietnam 2026," a premier open innovation initiative engineered to capture and integrate high-potential tech startups into Lotte's sprawling Southeast Asian infrastructure.

According to an official ecosystem disclosure reported by VnExpress on May 25, the program functions as a core bridgehead under the joint KOICA IBS-ESG Initiative operated in strategic alliance with Impact Square—a prominent South Korea-based corporate innovation specialist.

Moving decisively away from traditional academic mentoring, this fast-track platform aims to deploy direct Proof of Concept (PoC) frameworks, structurally embedding emerging automated retail, AI, and robotic capabilities into Lotte’s multi-sector operations.

이번 ‘L-CAMP 베트남 2026’의 차별점은 단순 이론교육이나 강연중심의 전통적 액셀러레이터 모델을 지양하고 ‘실전사업 구현’에 초점을 맞췄다는 점이다. 롯데벤처스와 임팩트스퀘어는 한국국제협력단의 ‘KOICA IBS-ESG 이니셔티브 프로그램’을 통해 베트남 투자 생태계를 다져왔으며, 이번 L-CAMP는 해당 국책 파트너십의 핵심 결과물이다.

현재 베트남은 동남아에서 가장 빠르게 성장하는 테크시장이지만, 성장 단계의 스타트업은 대기업 파트너십과 대규모 실전 데이터 검증기회 부족이라는 장벽에 가로막혀 있다.

롯데는 이를 해결하기 위해 현지 롯데마트·롯데리아·롯데시네마·롯데호텔·롯데몰 등 유통·커머스·물류·부동산을 아우르는 메가 생태계를 테스트베드로 제공한다.

Lotte Ventures Vietnam and Impact Square have built a continuous partnership through the KOICA IBS-ESG Initiative Programme to develop the startup ecosystem in Vietnam, and L-CAMP Vietnam 2026 stands as a key initiative under this state-backed partnership. However, one of the biggest challenges for growth-stage startups remains access to large corporate partners and real implementation opportunities at scale. 최종 선정된 베트남 현지 테크 스타트업은 롯데 계열사 글로벌 데스크와의 일대일 매칭 외에도 강력한 재무적 버퍼를 장착하게 된다. 또 프로그램에 선발된 기업은 총예산 최대 8만 달러 규모의 개념실증 무상 보조금을 지원받아, 롯데의 인프라안에서 자사 제품과 서비스의 수율을 비용부담 없이 검증할 수 있다. 여기에 롯데의 전문가 네트워크 멘토링을 거쳐 기술력이 검증된 스타트업은 롯데벤처스 베트남으로부터의 직접 지분 투자 및 후속 펀딩 기회를 우선적으로 선점하게 된다. 이는 혁신기술을 가진 현지 기업의 지분을 롯데 자본 안에 가두는 전형적인 CVC(기업형 벤처캐피탈) 영토확장 구조다.

Deploying Up to $80,000 PoC Grants and Triggering Future Capital Injections
