I am currently traveling on a flight from Seoul to Barcelona.

It has been seven hours since departure from Seoul.
서울을 이륙한 지 7시간이 지났다.

We are now flying above Tashkent, Uzbekistan, at 11,582 meters above sea level.
우리는 현재 우즈베키스탄 타슈켄트 상공 11,582미터에서 비행 중이다.

The speed of the aircraft is about 837 kilometers per hour.
비행기의 속도는 시속 약 837킬로미터이다.

Outside the window, the temperature is minus 61 degrees Celsius.
창문 밖의 기온은 섭씨 영하 61도이다.

From this height, the Earth feels quiet and distant.
이 높은 곳에서 지구는 조용하고 멀게 느껴진다.

I think about all human beings living below.
나는 아래에서 살아가는 모든 인류를 생각한다.

Some people are in conflict and war.
어떤 사람들은 갈등과 전쟁 속에 있다.

Some people are suffering from pain and loss.
어떤 사람들은 고통과 상실 속에 있다.

Some people are crying silently in their daily lives.
어떤 사람들은 일상 속에서 조용히 눈물을 흘린다.

Yet here, above the clouds, there is only silence.
그러나 구름 위 이곳에는 오직 침묵만이 존재한다.

This silence feels very deep and wide.
이 침묵은 매우 깊고 넓게 느껴진다.

It feels like a space outside of human conflict.
이곳은 인간의 갈등을 벗어난 공간처럼 느껴진다.

It feels like a neutral world above nations and borders.
국가와 경계를 넘어선 중립적인 세계처럼 느껴진다.

Some philosophers might call this a kind of “no man’s land.”
어떤 철학자들은 이것을 “무인의 땅”이라고 부를지도 모른다.

The British philosopher Bertrand Russell once emphasized clear thinking beyond emotion and conflict.
영국 철학자 버트런드 러셀은 감정과 갈등을 넘어선 명확한 사고를 강조했다.

In that sense, this sky feels like a place where thinking becomes simple and pure.
그런 의미에서 이 하늘은 사고가 단순하고 순수해지는 장소처럼 느껴진다.

There is no noise of politics here.
이곳에는 정치의 소음이 없다.

There is no division between people here.
이곳에는 사람들 사이의 분열이 없다.

There is only a wide space that holds everything equally.
여기에는 모든 것을 동등하게 품는 넓은 공간만이 존재한다.

From this altitude, the Earth does not look divided.
이 고도에서 지구는 나뉘어 보이지 않는다.

It looks like one shared home for all humans.
지구는 모든 인류가 함께 사는 하나의 집처럼 보인다.

Borders are invisible from here.
이곳에서는 국경이 보이지 않는다.

Names of countries feel less important in this view.
국가의 이름들은 이 시각에서 덜 중요하게 느껴진다.

What remains is simply humanity.
남는 것은 단지 인류 그 자체이다.

I think about mental health from this perspective.
나는 이 시각에서 정신건강을 생각한다.

Human suffering does not belong to one nation only.
인간의 고통은 특정 국가에만 속하지 않는다.

Depression, anxiety, and trauma exist everywhere on Earth.
우울, 불안, 외상은 지구 어디에나 존재한다.

People may look different, but emotional pain is shared.
사람들은 다르게 보이지만 정서적 고통은 공유된다.

This is why global mental health matters.
그래서 글로벌 정신건강이 중요하다.

From 11,582 meters above the Earth, I wish for something simple.
지상 11,582미터 위에서 나는 단순한 것을 바란다.

I wish for less suffering on the ground below.
아래 지상에서 고통이 줄어들기를 바란다.

I wish for more understanding between people.
사람들 사이에 더 많은 이해가 생기기를 바란다.

I wish for peace that is not temporary, but lasting.
일시적인 평화가 아니라 지속적인 평화를 바란다.

And I wish for silence not only in the sky, but in human hearts.
그리고 하늘뿐만 아니라 인간의 마음에도 고요가 있기를 바란다.
