[미디어펜=편집국]국내 종합물류기업 한진이 주한미군을 대상으로 하는 약 1571만 달러 규모의 유류 운송 계약을 확보했다. 미국 정부 조달시장에서 기존 군수물류 사업을 이어가며 주한미군 에너지 공급망의 운송 업무를 맡게 됐다.

29일 미국 연방정부 조달정보에 따르면 미 육군 계약기관은 지난 21일 주한미군 전역을 대상으로 하는 벌크 석유제품 운송 서비스 계약을 한진에 낙찰했다. 계약금액은 1571만5582.96달러다.

이 계약은 미국 국방군수국(DLA)의 석유제품을 한국내 주한미군 시설로 운송하는 사업이다. 

South Korean logistics company Hanjin has secured a contract worth approximately $15.7 million to provide bulk petroleum transportation services for U.S. Forces Korea (USFK), extending its role in the U.S. military logistics supply chain in South Korea.

According to U.S. federal procurement records reviewed on October 29, the U.S. Army awarded the contract to HANJIN Logistics Corporation on October 21. The announced contract value is $15,715,582.96.

The contract covers bulk petroleum delivery services supporting USFK locations across South Korea. The award was published under contract number W90VN927DA005.

미국 정부 조달공고에 따르면 이번 사업의 명칭은 'DLA, Bulk Petroleum Delivery Service, USFK Wide, South Korea'다. 국방군수국의 에너지 공급과 관련된 석유제품을 주한미군 시설에 운송하는 것이 주요 내용이다.

美 육군은 지난 8월 관련 입찰을 공고한 뒤 10월 21일 한진을 계약업체로 선정했다. 낙찰공고에는 한진의 서울 중구 남대문로 소재 본사 주소와 미국 연방정부 계약업체 식별번호가 함께 기재됐다.

해당 업체는 국내 유가증권시장 상장사인 ㈜한진이다. 한진의 사업보고서에 기재된 영문 법인명과 본사 주소가 미국 조달공고의 수주업체 정보와 일치한다.

이 계약을 통해 한진은 미국 정부가 발주하는 군수용 유류 운송 서비스를 계속 수행하게 됐다. 주한미군의 에너지 공급을 뒷받침하는 육상 운송 분야에서 사업 기반을 이어가는 셈이다.

The contract is titled “DLA, Bulk Petroleum Delivery Service, USFK Wide, South Korea.” It involves transportation services associated with petroleum products supplied through the U.S. Defense Logistics Agency.

The U.S. Army issued the solicitation in August and announced Hanjin as the awardee on October 21. The award notice identifies the contractor by its Seoul headquarters address and U.S. federal contractor registration details.

The recipient is Hanjin Logistics Corporation, the English corporate name of South Korea’s publicly listed Hanjin. The company name and headquarters address match its Korean regulatory filings.

The award enables Hanjin to continue providing transportation services within the U.S. military’s fuel logistics network in South Korea.

한진의 주한미군 유류 운송사업은 이번이 처음은 아니다.

미국 정부의 기존 계약 기록을 보면 한진은 2023년 체결된 계약을 바탕으로 국방군수국 에너지 제품의 한국 내 운송 업무를 수행해 왔다.

특히 미국 연방정부 지출정보 시스템에는 한진이 2025년 11월부터 2026년 10월까지 국방군수국 에너지 제품의 탱크로리 운송 업무를 수행하는 계약이 등록돼 있다. 해당 운송 주문의 계약금액은 약 87만5000달러다.

이번 1571만 달러 규모의 낙찰은 이 같은 기존 사업 이력을 바탕으로 확보한 후속 계약이라는 점에서 의미가 있다.

한진은 택배와 항만하역, 육상운송, 글로벌 물류 등 다양한 사업을 운영하고 있다. 주한미군 유류 운송은 이 가운데 특수 운송과 군수물류 역량을 활용하는 분야다.

The latest contract is not Hanjin’s first involvement in U.S. military fuel transportation.

U.S. federal contracting records show that Hanjin has performed transportation services for Defense Logistics Agency energy products under an earlier contract awarded in 2023.

A separate federal delivery order covers tank truck operations for DLA energy products in South Korea from November 2025 through October 2026, with an award value of approximately $875,000.

The new $15.7 million award therefore represents a continuation of an established business relationship rather than an initial entry into the U.S. military logistics market.

Hanjin operates across parcel delivery, cargo transportation, port logistics and international freight services. Military fuel transportation forms part of its specialized logistics operations.

주한미군의 안정적인 운영에는 군사 장비와 인력뿐 아니라 연료를 적시에 공급하는 물류체계가 필요하다. 국방군수국은 미군의 에너지 조달과 공급을 담당하며, 한국 내 운송은 군 시설과 에너지 공급 거점을 연결하는 역할을 한다.

이번 계약은 미국 정부가 발주하는 물류서비스를 한국 기업이 직접 수행한다는 점에서도 주목된다.
