[미디어펜=편집국]국내 엔지니어링 기업 동성엔지니어링과 케이씨아이, 삼안이 우즈베키스탄의 주요 간선도로인 A380 고속도로 현대화 사업에서 약 541만달러 규모의 건설감리 계약을 체결한 것으로 확인됐다.

2일 아시아개발은행(ADB)의 공식 사업·계약 자료에 따르면 우즈베키스탄 도로위원회는 지난 9월 16일 동성엔지니어링·케이씨아이·삼안·리듬 플러스(Rhythm Plus)로 구성된 컨소시엄과 540만9940달러(72억2000만원) 규모의 건설감리 계약을 체결했다.

감리 대상은 A380 고속도로 581km 지점부터 673km 지점까지 총 92km 구간이다. 국내 기업 3곳은 현지 업체와 함께 도로 현대화 공사의 감독 업무를 수행한다.

이 계약은 우즈베키스탄이 ADB의 금융지원을 받아 추진하는 중앙아시아지역경제협력체(CAREC) 도로회랑2 현대화 사업의 일환이다.

ADB가 공개한 계약명은 'A380 고속도로 92km 구간 건설공사 감리 컨설턴트'다.

계약금액은 540만9940달러로, ADB가 공시한 금액 전액이 ADB 금융지원 대상이다. 이 사업은 도로를 직접 건설하는 시공계약과 구분된다. 국내 기업이 참여한 컨소시엄은 도로 건설공사에 대한 감리 업무를 수행한다.

우즈베키스탄은 중앙아시아 내륙 교통망의 주요 연결 지점이다. A380 고속도로는 우즈베키스탄의 주요 도시와 서부 지역을 잇는 간선도로로, 이번 현대화 사업은 국제 물류·교통 연결성을 개선하기 위해 추진되고 있다.

Three South Korean engineering firms—Dongsung Engineering, KCIeng and Saman Corporation—have joined a consortium awarded a $5.41 million construction supervision contract for Uzbekistan's A380 highway modernization project.

According to the Asian Development Bank's official contract records, Uzbekistan's Committee for Roads signed the contract on September 16, 2026, with a joint venture comprising the three Korean companies and Rhythm Plus.

The assignment covers construction supervision for a 92-kilometer section of the A380 highway between kilometer markers 581 and 673.

The ADB identifies the contract as a construction supervision consultancy for two civil works lots covering the 92-kilometer A380 highway section.

The total contract value is $5,409,940, fully covered by ADB financing according to the bank's contract records.

The joint venture consists of Dongsung Engineering, KCIeng, Saman Corporation and Rhythm Plus. The contract covers construction supervision rather than the physical construction of the highway.

이번 고속도로 현대화 사업에서는 시공과 감리 계약이 각각 별도로 발주됐다.

ADB자료에 따르면 도로위원회는 지난 7월 중국철도20국집단에 A380 고속도로 2공구 건설계약을 발주했다.

해당 계약금액은 1억464만9738달러다. 사업 내용은 31.5km 우회도로 신설과 기존 A380 고속도로 12km 확장, 도로 이용자를 위한 서비스시설 건설 등이다.

이와 별도로 국내 기업 3곳이 참여한 공동수급체가 92km 구간의 건설감리 계약을 체결하면서 도로 시공과 감리 업무가 서로 다른 국제 컨소시엄에 배분됐다.

대규모 인프라 사업에서 시공뿐 아니라 감리·설계·사업관리 등 엔지니어링 서비스가 별도 계약으로 발주된다는 점을 보여주는 사례다.

Construction and supervision contracts have been awarded separately under the A380 highway modernization program.

ADB records show that China Railway 20th Bureau Group received a $104.65 million civil works contract for Lot 2 on July 16, 2026. The works include a new bypass, widening of the existing highway and related service facilities.

The Korean-participating consortium subsequently received the separate construction supervision assignment covering the broader 92-kilometer project section.

이번 감리계약이 포함된 사업은 ADB가 추진하는 'CAREC 도로회랑 2 회복력 및 현대화 사업'이다.

ADB는 해당 사업에 2억3314만달러 규모의 차관을 제공한다.

사업은 우즈베키스탄 카라칼파크스탄공화국에 위치한 A380 고속도로의 주요 구간을 개선하고, 도로 유지관리와 교통 운영체계를 강화하는 데 초점을 맞추고 있다.

특히 도로의 내구성과 유지관리 역량을 높이는 동시에 차량 하중 관리와 지능형 교통관리 기술 도입도 추진한다.

국내 엔지니어링 기업은 앞서 우즈베키스탄의 농촌도로 회복력 사업에서도 사업관리와 사업준비 용역을 수행해 왔다. 이번 A380 감리계약은 이와 별개인 간선도로 현대화 사업이다.

국내 엔지니어링 기업이 중앙아시아 도로 인프라 시장에서 사업준비·프로젝트관리뿐 아니라 실제 건설 단계의 감리 분야에도 참여하는 셈이다.

The A380 supervision contract forms part of the CAREC Road Corridor 2 Resilience and Modernization Project, supported by a $233.14 million ADB loan.

The program seeks to improve a major highway corridor in Uzbekistan's Republic of Karakalpakstan while strengthening road maintenance, resilience, vehicle-load enforcement and traffic management.

The latest contract is separate from the rural roads assignments previously undertaken by Korean engineering firms in Uzbekistan. It adds another example of Korean participation in Central Asian transport infrastructure consulting services.
