[미디어펜=편집국]경기 평택에 소재한 국내 업체 두 곳이 미국 국방부 산하 국방물자청(DLA)의 장기 사무기기 임대사업 계약업체로 선정됐다. 전체 사업의 최대 계약한도는 2620만 달러( 352억원)로, 국내 업체들은 미국 기업과 함께 주한미군 관련 사무기기 공급·관리사업에 참여하게 됐다.

4일 미국 연방정부 조달공고에 따르면 DLA는 지난 3일 'Korea IDIQ Award Notice'를 통해 사무기기 임대사업의 복수 계약업체 3곳을 발표했다.

낙찰업체는 HP렌탈, 글로벌컴퍼니얼라이언스, 미국 펜실베이니아주 소재 트라이던트다.

이번 계약은 미국 정부가 한국내 군 관련 시설에 사용하는 사무용 복합기와 관련 장비를 장기간 임대하고 유지·관리하기 위한 사업이다.

미국 국방부 조달시장에 참여해 온 평택 소재 업체가 대규모 장기 임대사업의 계약업체로 선정되면서 국내 중소기업의 미국 연방정부 조달사업 참여 사례가 추가됐다.

Two South Korean companies based in Pyeongtaek have been selected as contract awardees for a US Department of Defense office equipment leasing program with a maximum program ceiling of $26.2 million.

According to an award notice issued on November 3 by the US Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), HP Rental and Global Company Alliance, both located in Pyeongtaek, were selected alongside Pennsylvania-based Trident for three multiple-award indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contracts.

The program covers the leasing and maintenance of multifunction office devices and related equipment in South Korea for a period of up to 60 months.

미국 DLA가 11월 3일 공개한 낙찰공고에는 3개 계약의 낙찰업체와 계약번호가 명시됐다.

HP렌탈은 계약번호 SP700027D0002, 글로벌컴퍼니얼라이언스는 SP700027D0003, 미국 트라이던트는 SP700027D0004의 계약업체로 각각 선정됐다.

DLA는 기술적 적격성을 충족한 입찰자 가운데 가격경쟁력을 갖춘 업체를 선정했다고 밝혔다.

HP렌탈의 등록 주소는 경기 평택시 고덕면 고덕북로 223이며, 글로벌컴퍼니얼라이언스는 평택시 팽성읍 두리길 6에 소재한다.

특히 글로벌컴퍼니얼라이언스는 미국 연방정부 조달업체 등록시스템에 등록된 법인으로, 기존에도 미국 군 관련 조달사업에 참여한 이력이 있다.

HP렌탈 역시 미 국방물자청의 사무기기 공급사업에 참여해 왔다. 지난해 8월에는 DLA의 복합기 117대 공급계약을 약 27만 달러에 수주한 바 있다.

이번 낙찰은 기존 개별 장비 공급을 넘어 장기 임대와 유지관리 서비스를 포함하는 복수 계약사업에 참여하게 됐다는 점에서 의미가 있다.

HP Rental received contract SP700027D0002, Global Company Alliance was awarded SP700027D0003, and US-based Trident was selected for SP700027D0004.

The agency stated that the contracts were awarded to the lowest-priced technically acceptable bidders.

HP Rental is registered at 223 Godeokbuk-ro, Godeok-myeon, Pyeongtaek, while Global Company Alliance is based at 6 Duri-gil, Paengseong-eup, Pyeongtaek.

Both companies have experience participating in US government procurement. HP Rental previously received a DLA contract worth approximately $271,000 for 117 multifunction devices in August 2025.

The latest awards expand their participation into a longer-term leasing and equipment management program.

네트워크 기능과 보안 요건도 계약 범위에 포함됐다.

사업의 특징은 장비를 한 번 납품하고 종료하는 방식이 아니라 계약기간에 걸쳐 장비 운영과 유지관리 서비스가 함께 제공된다는 점이다.

전체 프로그램의 최대 한도는 2620만 달러이며, 개별 IDIQ 계약의 최소 보장금액은 1만 달러다. 실제 업체별 매출은 향후 발행되는 개별 주문에 따라 결정된다.

Contractors are responsible for delivery, installation, user training, maintenance, equipment relocation, technical refresh, removal and reporting. Network functionality and security requirements are also part of the program.

Each IDIQ contract carries a guaranteed minimum of $10,000. Actual revenue for individual contractors will depend on delivery orders issued during the contract period.

The program therefore represents a long-term equipment leasing and service arrangement rather than a single equipment purchase.
